Many car crashes in Hollywood are due to human error and are caused by issues such as distracted driving, fatigue, and other issues. While there are liable parties, these crashes are not caused intentionally but rather by reckless or negligent behavior.

However, in recent days with protests we have seen on-purpose crashes involving drivers who have purposely driven into a crowd in order to hurt people. Unfortunately, on purpose car accidents are not as rare as they should be. In some cases, drivers cause collisions not through negligence but through wrongful, deliberate acts.

Driving Alone at Night in Florida? Use these Safety Tips

Driving alone at night in Homestead or anywhere in Florida comes with some added dangers. Fatigued driving accidents are more common at night, as are drunk driving accidents. Visibility is poor and more wildlife may be on the roads. Driving alone at night can also make you a possible target for potential criminals.

Fortunately, there are a few things you can do to stay safer on the roads:

1) Improve visibility: Make sure you take care of your eyes and have the right lens prescription if you wear glasses on contact lenses. If you wear glasses, consider a no-glare coating so you can see well at night. Adjust the interior and dash light to further prevent glare. If you wear contact lenses, avoid driving at night after a full day of wearing contacts, when they may be dried and uncomfortable. Use headlights and high beams, as needed, to allow other drivers to see you.

How To Stop Aggressive Driving

Aggressive driving is a major threat on Hollywood and Florida roads. Drivers who are upset or angry are more likely to take risks and more likely to speed because they are too angry to drive calm and safely. Angry drivers are also distracted drivers – they are so focused on whatever has made them upset that they often don’t notice pedestrians and other cars around them. These types of drivers are likely to suffer from road rage and may cause car accidents due to their reckless driving.

There many reasons why aggressive driving happens. Someone may become upset and jump into their car in order to get away from an angering situation. In some cases, people simply have anger management issues that can translate to angry driving on the roads. All of us are subject to aggressive driving if we become upset and fail to calm down before getting behind the wheel.
